(1975) The war is over.
Hello bloggers. The Vietnam War is over now. All of the wonderful soldiers get to go home to their families. No more bombs, no more killing innocent children and no more hate. My opinion is that I don't think there should be no more wars, man. Why can't everyone just relax with some music? It would make everything in the world better. Make love not war.

(December 1975) Christmas bombing
Hello everyone. Today is Christmas and I hope you all got what you wanted from Santa (parents). Did anyone hear about the Christmas Bombing that happened? Poor Hanoi in North Vietnam. So many people were killed. I hope this ended the war. My friends and I always say, make love not war 💕

(November 1971) My artwork
Today was a good day. I drew a lot of things and my favorite one is the one that says "Peace" on it. Peace is what this war needs right now because it's getting bad. Too many people's loved ones are loosing their lives. I'm going to try to post this all over town. It's really rad guys.
(November 1971) My Idol.
Today i listened to a lot of music because I'm sad. I want the war to be over now. Love not war is what I wish everyone lived upon. My idol is Stevie Nicks because her music is amazing and she is so talented. I don't know what's it is about her music but it just makes me happy.

Favorite two songs
Hello! today i thought id keep it short and simple and tell you about my favorite songs about anti-war protesting! These are fantastic!
Lyrics:
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again, y'all
War, huh, good God
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
Ohhh, war, I despise
Because it means destruction
Of innocent lives
War means tears
To thousands of mothers eyes
When their sons go to fight
And lose their lives
I said, war, huh
Good God, y'all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again
War, whoa, Lord
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
War, it ain't nothing
But a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
Ooooh, war
It's an enemy to all mankind
The point of war blows my mind
War has caused unrest
Within the younger generation
Induction then destruction
Who wants to die
Aaaaah, war-huh
Good God y'all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it, say it, say it
War, huh
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Uh-huh
War, huh, yeah
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again y'all
War, huh, good God
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
War, it ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
War, it's got one friend
That's the undertaker
Ooooh, war, has shattered
Many a young mans dreams
Made him disabled, bitter and mean
Life is much to short and precious
To spend fighting wars these days
War can't give life
It can only take it away
Ooooh, war, huh
Good God y'all
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Say it again
War, whoa, Lord
What is it good for
Absolutely nothing
Listen to me
War, it ain't nothing but a heartbreaker
War, friend only to the undertaker
Peace, love and understanding
Tell me, is there no place for them today
They say we must fight to keep our freedom
But Lord knows there's got to be a better way
Ooooooh, war, huh
Good God y'all
What is it good for
You tell me
Say it, say it, say it, say it
War, huh
Good God y'all
What is it good for
Stand up and shout it
Nothing

Songs
- Edwin Starr's Vietnam protest song: This song is one that needs to be shouted from the mountain tops. Its so important to what we stand for and is so bluntly said. War is good for absolutely nothing! and edwin starr really gets that across! We thank him for it!

Throwback Thursday
Since its Thursday I thought why not do a throwback to one of my first war protests i was ever a part of! We protested a lot on the draft and about bringing our men back home where they belong! It wasnt the most peaceful though because little did we know that armed men were waiting inside of the pentagon ready for us to make our move. They brought violence into something that we had wanted to stay peaceful and completely blew the situation out of proportion. We were fighting with Flower power and they were fighting with guns. See a problem here? Peace all the way or stay away!
Heres some pictures that were taken:

Biggest Peace Protest (Nov 15 1969)
Went to the most amazing peace protest today organized by the Vietnam Moratorium Committee! We drew a crowd of .5 million people! I got to meet so many new people who were into the same values as me and wanted to GIVE PEACE A CHANCE! Got to listen to such amazing campaign speakers, but there's no doubt that the best part was hands down Pete Seeger leading all 500,000 of us to sing Give Peace A Chance! If only Lennon were here! He would be so overwhelmingly proud! He created the song for this sole purpose and this is what he would've wanted and more! I just wish I couldve heard Senator Kennedy's speech! Someone put some of it on my twitter page and tagged me in it so i could see it and i quote: "I do believe this nation is in danger of committing itself to goals and personalities that guarantee the war's continuance." I really dig his thoughts they seem to be a lot like how i feel about this situation. Overall it was a fantastic day!! cant wait for more protests!
Here are some pictures I took today!

Kent State Massacre (May 4 1970)
Today Students from Kent university were killed for protesting. This was caused by the Ohio national guards adding a violent reaction to their peaceful protesting. 4 students were killed in this tragedy while 9 were wounded. Its so sad that all they were doing was protesting the violence that was going on and they were forced to stop through armed forces. May these 4 kids rest in peace and live on through the hearts of the other students. Here's some images from today:
